They created HATWALK, a charity set up to raise
public awareness of millinery as a vibrant art form.
HATWALK (www.hatwalk.co.uk) started out as a single
event and has blossomed into an organization that promotes
the art of millinery. They have raised over £15,000
for charity, most notably the Teenage Cancer Trust.
HATWALK brought three world renowned hat teachers
to Scotland so professional milliners can hone up their
skills. HATWALK was conceived in 2003 as a vehicle
for promoting Scottish milliners and raising money
for charity. It took the form of a theatrical show
with hats as the stars. They run workshops for adults
and children all over the UK.
